ABOUT OUR FAMILY...
My name is Michele. My love for children began when I
was a little girl who played mommy to my baby dolls and
dreamed of having 10 children when I grew up. I learned
how to hold, feed and diaper my baby cousin when I was
7 years old and have enjoyed caring for children ever
since that day. I have been married to my husband Chris for 12 years. Chris works as an engineer in Cary and also part-time as a DJ and piano teacher. We have been blessed with 2 wonderful children. Our daughter is 10 and our son is 8. We are also animal lovers who have 2 friendly cats who enjoy slumbering all day and 1 dog who loves playing with the children.

Throughout college I provided childcare for 2 families and graduated from Roosevelt University in 1996 with a BA degree in psychology.
Upon graduation I worked in 2 different daycare centers for 1 year.
I was a case manager for children and adults with developmental disabilities in McHenry county for 2 years.
I worked as a foster care case manger for children in McHenry County for 1 year.
I was a program manager for children and adults with developmental disabilities in Cook County for 12 years.
I also enjoyed volunteering in the children's program at our church for 1 year.
My love for children as well as the desire to spend more time with my own kids inspired me to open Playtime Palace Daycare. In March 2012 I became licensed as a home daycare provider offering working parents a home away from home for their children to come for nurturing care, education, socialization and fun activities for all.
